Arizona child care financial assistance is provided to eligible families through the Department of Economic Security (DES). Arizona child care assistance is available to eligible families with children 12 years of age or younger.
You may be eligible if your family income is at or below 165% of the Federal Poverty Level.

Other factors that influence eligibility for Arizona child care assistance are employment, participation in the JOBS (Job Opportunity and Basic Skills) program, participation in education and training activities related to employment when working at least 20 hours per week, participating in high school, GED, or remedial education classes for teen parents, residency in a homeless or domestic violence shelter, determination by a Child Protective Services or Foster Care case plan, the inability or unavailability to care for one’s own children due to a physical, mental, or emotional condition, or participation in a drug treatment, rehabilitation program, or a court-ordered community service program.
